Construction Project Manager - Town & Country Fence

Department: Construction Support
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Town & Country Fence (a division of Dakota Fence Company, along with 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, Dakota Unlimited and DFC Property Management) is a growing fence contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, gates and automated gate systems. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Our dedicated employees (our “Blue Family”) work from our Twin Cities facility and throughout the state of Minnesota. Shift and Time: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Day Shift

Summary:

  • Provide overall leadership direction to a portfolio of projects
  • Manage project quality, timeliness, and safety
  • Mentor the project team
  • Work closely with the Installation Manager, Branch Manager, and other leadership team members
  • Interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment
  • Remain flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient
  • Anticipate and creatively solve problems, critical issues, and opportunities
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, urgency, and confidentiality
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Utilize computer skills effectively
  • Manage staff and foster a positive team environment
  • Motivate the Brooklyn Park team to be efficient, productive, and cohesive
  • Develop and enhance customer relationships through excellent service
  • Demonstrate strong organization, flexibility, customer focus, and communication skills

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: BS degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field from an accredited college or three (3) years of directly related experience is preferred.
