Sales Director - Park & Play USA

Department: Retail Support
Location: West Fargo, ND

DFC Company (Dakota Fence, 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, Town & Country Fence, Dakota Unlimited and DFC Property Management) is a growing specialty contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, highway guardrail, fabrication, and commercial playground construction, as well as traffic control services. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Our dedicated employees (our “Blue Family”) work from six branches throughout North Dakota & Minnesota and primarily service the surrounding five state area, with a wider retail presence through our national sign manufacturing and distribution businesses. Shift and Time: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm

Summary:

  • Lead national sales initiative for parks & recreation-related specialty products
  • Develop and meet annual sales targets
  • Possess strong technical product knowledge
  • Design strategic sales plans and assess costs and competition
  • Supervise Account Managers and Sales Specialists
  • Develop and maintain relationships
  • Execute strategic marketing plans
  • Drive business growth
  • Have a desire to win and develop new business
  • Create positive customer experiences
  • Serve as a backup to the Playground entity as needed

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Preferred knowledge and experience in the construction or related industry
  • General understanding of project plans and specifications
  • Desirable to have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, construction, or engineering
  • Experience with ERP systems, including Vista
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Google Earth and AutoCAD is a plus
