Playground Installer

Department: Construction Support
Location: Fargo, ND

DFC Company (Dakota Fence, 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, Town & Country Fence, and Dakota Unlimited) is a growing specialty contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, highway guardrail, fabrication, and commercial playground construction as well as traffic control services. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Shift and Time: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Day Shift

Pay: Starting at $19.00 an hour and up (Overtime Available)

Summary:

  • Support the Foreman in all playground installation tasks
  • Travel to different locations for playground installations
  • Uphold high levels of customer service and promote a positive company image
  • Prepare job sites for installation, including tasks like digging holes and mixing concrete
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
  • Utilize various hand and power tools, as well as operate skid steers, air hammers, and forklifts
  • Safely operate company vehicles

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


• Playground or other construction experience preferred, but not necessary
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer combination
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with good overall interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Willingness/ability to obtain a CDL/Class A Driver’s License a plus
